Aida Sanchez Named to National Cannabis Industry Association’s State Regulations Committee

Aida Sanchez, Assistant Vice President, Safety, Security, and Cannabis Compliance, has been appointed to serve on the National Cannabis Industry Association’s (NCIA) State Regulations Committee for the 2025 term.

With nearly two decades in government and over a decade of experience in state and local cannabis licensing and regulatory compliance, Sanchez is widely recognized as a strategic advisor to operators, ancillary service providers, and multi-state cannabis businesses. In her role at PorzioCS, she leads regulatory strategy and compliance implementation for cannabis clients navigating complex and evolving state frameworks.

As a member of the NCIA’s State Regulations Committee, Sanchez will contribute her insight and experience to support the development of best practices and policy recommendations. The committee plays a key role in shaping the future of the industry through advocacy, education, and knowledge-sharing across states.
