PorzioCS conducted a comprehensive security assessment for an organization responsible for sixteen buildings with a significant staff and daily foot traffic. The project yielded individual reports and recommendations for each facility. The findings and recommendations were presented to leadership suggested improvements to address vulnerabilities while maintaining alignment with the organization’s mission. A faith-based organization operating across three locations in different municipalities and counties sought assistance in formulating a comprehensive security plan. PorzioCS developed a Safety and Security Plan for the organization encompassing all facilities under its management. Subsequently, the client re-engaged with PorzioCS during the application process for a federal Non-Profit Security Grant. The program, requiring licensure through the NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), mandated a security plan with specific elements outlined by the DDD. PorzioCS was engaged by a public entity following the arrest of a high-level administrator involved in a federal investigation into thefts of electronic devices totaling over $600K from the agency. Due to the individual's complete purchasing authority and control over the devices, the theft went undetected until after the federal probe. Conducting a thorough investigation, PorzioCS determined that the individual acted independently without the knowledge or assistance of other employees. The investigation also identified gaps in controls that facilitated the thefts. PorzioCS presented numerous recommendations for the implementation of internal controls to prevent future incidents and enhance overall security measures within the organization.
PorzioCS was engaged to perform periodic site inspections for an organization managing multiple residential group homes in Northern New Jersey. Collaborating with organizational leadership, PorzioCS developed a comprehensive checklist and set of questions to guide the site visits conducted over a six-month period.
