PorzioCS conducted a comprehensive security assessment for an organization responsible for sixteen buildings with a significant staff and daily foot traffic. The project yielded individual reports and recommendations for each facility. The findings and recommendations were presented to leadership suggested improvements to address vulnerabilities while maintaining alignment with the organization’s mission. This initiative reflects PorzioCS's commitment to enhancing the overall security infrastructure of its clients to create a safer environment for employees and the public.

A faith-based organization operating across three locations in different municipalities and counties sought assistance in formulating a comprehensive security plan. PorzioCS developed a Safety and Security Plan for the organization encompassing all facilities under its management. Subsequently, the client re-engaged with PorzioCS during the application process for a federal Non-Profit Security Grant. PorzioCS provided valuable guidance in the grant application, resulting in securing $450,000 in federal funding specifically allocated for target hardening initiatives, further fortifying the security measures across the organization’s facilities.

An organization with multiple locations enlisted PorzioCS to create a security plan across all of its facilities. Following the completion of the plan, leadership further engaged PorzioCS to conduct a series of training sessions for its staff. These sessions were designed to familiarize staff members with the updated security plan and to clarify their roles and responsibilities in emergency situations.

A public school district sought the expertise of PorzioCS for security consulting services to address ongoing security incidents. PorzioCS advised leadership on best practices and provided recommendations to mitigate the identified security concerns. The ongoing engagement extended to guidance on navigating the relationship with local law enforcement, emphasizing effective collaboration with School Resource Officers and Special Officers. PorzioCS also played a pivotal role in establishing clear roles and responsibilities consistent with the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between Education and Law Enforcement Officials. As part of the collaboration, PorzioCS and PBN conducted a training session for school administrators, focusing on a comprehensive review of the MOA and strategies to facilitate a strong partnership between the school and law enforcement.

A behavioral health institution establishing a new adult program and location enlisted PorzioCS to develop a security plan. The program, requiring licensure through the NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), mandated a security plan with specific elements outlined by the DDD. PorzioCS not only crafted the plan but also assisted the organization in formulating policies and procedures aligned with the specified elements crucial for obtaining licensure.

A non-profit organization offering Human Resources services to over thirty affiliate member organizations engaged PorzioCS to conduct internal investigations related to various employee matters. These investigations encompassed allegations of sexual harassment, hostile work environment, discrimination, policy violations, and employee misconduct. Given the geographic dispersion of the affiliates across multiple states, PorzioCS facilitated the investigations through remote interviews and document reviews. In cases with legal implications, PorzioCS collaborated with PBN attorneys to provide a legal context and findings, supporting the organization's general counsel. By offering a comprehensive and timely investigative service, PorzioCS became a valuable resource for the organization and its affiliates, ensuring unbiased third-party involvement in sensitive investigations and avoiding any perceived conflicts of interest.

PorzioCS was engaged by a public entity following the arrest of a high-level administrator involved in a federal investigation into thefts of electronic devices totaling over $600K from the agency. Due to the individual's complete purchasing authority and control over the devices, the theft went undetected until after the federal probe. Conducting a thorough investigation, PorzioCS determined that the individual acted independently without the knowledge or assistance of other employees. The investigation also identified gaps in controls that facilitated the thefts. PorzioCS presented numerous recommendations for the implementation of internal controls to prevent future incidents and enhance overall security measures within the organization.

PorzioCS was engaged to perform periodic site inspections for an organization managing multiple residential group homes in Northern New Jersey. Collaborating with organizational leadership, PorzioCS developed a comprehensive checklist and set of questions to guide the site visits conducted over a six-month period. These visits, carried out during afternoon and overnight shifts, aimed to ensure compliance with resident privacy, staffing ratios, internal policies, and supervision levels. PorzioCS staff promptly generated written reports and conducted debrief sessions within twenty-four hours of each visit, facilitating swift resolution of any identified issues and maintaining a proactive approach to compliance and quality assurance.

PorzioCS was contracted by a School Joint Insurance Fund (JIF) to act as a security consultant, focusing on matters related to security best practices and staffing. This collaboration with JIF ensued after PorzioCS delivered presentations at an annual NJASBO conference, attended by the JIF, and subsequently at the JIF retreat. JIF, representing over ninety member schools, engaged PorzioCS to provide expertise and guidance on enhancing security measures and staffing practices across their member institutions.
