PorzioCS proudly announces that Yasmin Hernández-Manno, Director of Education Compliance, is one of 15 national recipients of the inaugural “Lifetime Leader in Latino Education Award” presented by Footsteps2Brilliance. This award, launched in honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, recognizes educational leaders who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to improving literacy within the Latino community.

Recognized for her outstanding career as an educator, administrator, and consultant, Yasmin brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the forefront of education compliance. Her focus on multilingual and multicultural learning is ideally suited to serve New Jersey’s increasingly diverse student population.

Beyond her role at PorzioCS, Yasmin’s commitment to the Latino community is exemplified through her leadership as founding president of the New Jersey Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents (NJALAS) and Vice President of the Non-Profit, Lift English Language Learners to Success (L.E.T.S.). Her prior role as the Executive County Superintendent of Schools for Mercer, Burlington, and Middlesex Counties, where she was the only Hispanic female in this capacity within the New Jersey Department of Education, further underscores her commitment to advancing education in diverse communities.
